The detail
A tall, athletic breed descended from crosses between domestic cats and the jungle cat. Chausies are energetic, confident and bond closely, and they need space, company and a buyer who checks local law first.
What to weigh
A Chausie needs large, secure space, daily exercise and company, and a bored one can be destructive. Earlier generations may be restricted by local law.
