The detail
Champagne d'Argents are an old French breed kept for meat and fur. Kits are born black and silver as they grow, reaching a blue-silver coat by about four months. They are large, calm and good meat rabbits.
What to weigh
Champagnes need space and feed, and their color takes months to show. Kits look very different from adults.
