The detail
The Chacoan white-head tegu is a line sold for its pale head and large adult size, associated with the Gran Chaco region. The hobby treats it as a form of Argentine black and white tegu, so care and space needs are the same.
- Housing
- 8×4×4 ft with deep, damp substrate
What to weigh
Size and head colour vary by animal, and names in the tegu trade are used loosely. Care and legal limits follow Argentine tegus.
