The detail
The normal green budgie is the wild color of Australia's small parakeet, and the most widely kept pet bird in the world. Budgies are cheerful, social and good talkers for their size, and a hand-tamed one is easy to live with.
- Housing
- Long cage for flying
What to weigh
A single budgie needs daily attention; a pair is happier but harder to tame. Budgies on all-seed diets often develop obesity and tumors, so diet matters.
