The detail
Bred in Belgium to hunt rats in stables and later a companion to royalty, the Brussels Griffon is a small, bearded dog with an almost human expression. Devoted, sensitive and full of personality, it wants to be close to its person all day.
What to weigh
Griffons bond tightly and dislike being left alone. The flat face brings heat sensitivity and breathing risks, and the prominent eyes injure easily.
