The detail
Beverens are one of the oldest rabbit breeds, from Beveren in Belgium, and were kept for meat and fur. They come in blue, black and blue-eyed white, and are calm and hardy, but now rare in the US.
What to weigh
Beverens are large and need space and feed. They are rare, so breeding stock can be related.
