The detail
The Yemen, or Bent's, uromastyx comes from southern Arabia and can show striking orange, yellow or green on the back. It is less commonly captive-bred than the Mali, so ask about sourcing and paperwork early.
- Housing
- 4×2×2 ft, very hot basking spot
What to weigh
Captive-bred animals can be hard to find. Like every uromastyx, it needs very hot basking, strong UVB and a mostly plant diet for decades.
