The detail
Polish chickens are a European breed known for a large crest of feathers on the head. They are kept mostly for show and as pets, lay white eggs and are gentle, but their crests limit their vision and they can be timid.
What to weigh
Crests block vision, so Polish startle easily and can be bullied. Crests need to be kept dry and free of mites.
