The detail
Moray eels are long, bold predators from reefs worldwide, and species range from small snowflakes to giants many feet long. They are hardy and interesting, but need a secure lid, strong filtration and tankmates they cannot eat.

What to weigh
Morays escape through tiny gaps and will eat small fish and crustaceans. Larger species outgrow most home tanks.
