The detail
Minorcas come from the Spanish island of Menorca and are the largest Mediterranean breed. They lay large white eggs, have big combs and white earlobes, and handle heat well, but are active and flighty.
What to weigh
Minorca combs are prone to frostbite in cold winters. They are flighty and less friendly than heavy breeds.
