The detail
Faverolles come from the village of Faverolles in France and were bred for meat and winter eggs. They have beards, muffs, feathered feet and five toes, and are gentle, curious birds that are popular with families.
What to weigh
Faverolles are gentle and can be bullied by pushier breeds. Their feathered feet collect mud and can hide mites.
