The detail

Babydoll Southdowns are a small, gentle sheep based on the original English Southdown type. They stand about 18 to 24 inches tall and are popular as pets, grazers in orchards and vineyards, and for their soft wool.

What to weigh

Babydolls still need yearly shearing, hoof trims and parasite control. Their short legs and wool make them prone to overheating in hot climates.
