Hi there! My name is Cooper, and I'm a Flemish Giant rabbit with a personality to match my size! I'm a super friendly guy who loves making friends with people. Flemish Giants may be big, but we still need plenty of space, gentle handling, regular grooming, and lots of hay to keep us happy and healthy. I came to the SPCA because my family could no longer care for me. I am looking for a nice indoor home where I would have lots of room to explore. My favorite things to do include eating hay, foraging through my toys, and eating fresh greens; dandelion is my absolute favorite! If you're looking for a gentle giant to steal your heart (and maybe a little extra space on your couch), I might just be your guy! Rabbits are the third most common pet (after cats and dogs), they are also the third most common pet to be surrendered to shelters. It is important that when committing to taking care of a rabbit for the entirety of its life that you are prepared for that commitment. Rabbits live roughly 8-12 years with proper indoor care. Rabbits require annual vet exams much like a dog or cat to ensure their teeth are growing at a healthy rate and to check their weight, ears, heart, etc. If kept…
