From Fairbanks North Start Borough Animal Control
Moe (A143717) is a roughly 5-month-old chicken available for adoption! 10/09/26 Zar and Moe arrived at the shelter as strays after being found in a cardboard box on the side of the road. They had some debris in their feathers, a few broken feathers, and missing tail feathers, but otherwise seemed healthy and in good spirits. Throughout their stray wait, they have had healthy appetites and have proven to be quite spunky. As they were strays, we do not know their backstory. We suspect they are young males but it is hard to be definitive at this age without knowing their breed or exact age. We are hoping they can find their way into a loving coop! If you are unfamiliar with care requirements, we encourage you to do the research before adopting. If you are interested in meeting Zar or Moe, please let us know!
In the rescue's own words, as they published it.
