From Palomacy Pigeon & Dove Adoptions

This sweet, gentle King pigeon was found stranded on an island in traffic in San Francisco. The rescuer sheltered him for a week while we coordinated transportation and a foster home. So far, his foster mom says he is a shy bird, nervous around people. But that's not surprising given he had been living on his own in the wild for who knows how long. We will post more as we get to know him! Please apply to adopt http://www.pigeonrescue.org/birds/apply-to-foster-or-adopt/

In the rescue's own words, as they published it.
