From Palomacy Pigeon & Dove Adoptions

Courageous is a beautiful white King pigeon with a grey ring in her eyes. She is on the small side for a King, but she is mighty with a very sweet disposition. Courageous was one of several birds who were rescued after being raised for squab, bought from a butcher, and released by a well-meaning person who didn't know these domestic pigeons have no way to fend for themselves. They don't know how or where to find food or water -- or even that they can fly. One of Courageous's cohort was killed by a predator and Palomacy rescued four others. Courageous and her husbird, Penny, are part of Palomacy's foster flock at Ploughshares Nursery in Alameda. They would love to find their forever home! Please apply to adopt http://www.pigeonrescue.org/birds/apply-to-foster-or-adopt/
