From Sacramento County Animal Care and Regulation
Alfalfa is a handsome boy with black iridescent feathers. He is a bit nervous when his crate is refreshed, but, nothing calms the boy down like a nice `soak` in his dust bath. He loves his treat of meal worms and has never been agitated toward staff or volunteers. Alfalfa came in to the shelter with his pal Spanky. If you are interested in Alfalfa (and maybe Spanky?) please ask about him at the shelter's adoption desk.
In the rescue's own words, as they published it.
How adopting *ALFALFA works
Sacramento County Animal Care and Regulation decides every adoption: its application, its fee, its home check and its timing. Everybarn only shows this animal on the rescue's behalf, takes no payment and passes no messages.
