From For The Love of Birds

Hatch Date: April 1, 1995 Kita is a delightful 31-year-old Blue Front Amazon. Kita is a DNA-confirmed female. She can be loud at times, possibly not ideal for Condo or apartment living. She prefers to be cared for by women. She does very well in active family household. She is in good health and is very colorful, both inside and outside. Affectionate and loving, she enjoys cuddles and kisses, and loves joining you for meals to share your food. Kita has been living within the same family since she was two months old. Unfortunately, her first mom passed away shortly thereafter; however, Kita easily transitioned to live with her mom’s sister in Pompton Lakes, NJ. Knowing that it may take time to find the perfect new home for Kita, her guardian has chosen to be proactive and responsibly begin the process. Kita appears more comfortable and happier with women. She responds well to gentle handling and will cuddle with her mom on the couch. She has her wings clipped out of caution since she has the opportunity to spend mild days out in her porch cage. Indoors, she loves spending time watching television with the family, playing with toys, and taking showers from a spray bottle. Kita…
