From Scott County Animal Care and Control
Meet Pete aka Peak Ahead a 24yr old thoroughbred gelding who is truly the definition of a gentleman. We are currently working on getting some more weight on this sweet boy. This handsome senior has quite the history; he raced for a short time before becoming a beloved kids' 4-H show horse. Pete is incredibly sweet, loves everyone he meets, and is very easy to handle. He is the kind of horse who has so much love and companionship to offer, and we would love to see him spend his golden years in a home where he will be cherished. Pete is very bonded to his friend Liv, and we would love to find a home where these two can stay together. If interested, you can email us at [email protected] for an application or come visit us during our adoption hours Monday-Friday 10am-4pm for a paper application!
