From Delaware Puppy Rescue

**This is a courtesy posting. This pet is not with DPR, but we are networking her to help find her a new home and keep her out of the shelters.** Iona is a cheerful, extremely friendly five-year-old guinea pig. She loves to be held and cuddled, and will give people kisses. She was closely bonded to her sister, and they regularly shared houses and groomed each other. At her age she doesn't need to share the same pen with a new friend, but does need a bar buddy who she can see, and squeak to, while she enjoys her pen to herself. So, gender of her new neighbor piggies doesn't matter! Her pen is just under 2' x 4'. It's bottom is canvas so pen has to be on something solid. Iona loves toys that she can tear apart and move around. She knows her routine and knows that she always gets fresh food snacks at bedtime, and will squeak for them. She is curious, busy, and outgoing. She will get excited when you come home, and climb up on her toys to give you a nose bump. She is in great health and very active, and will always make you smile. Guinea pigs have wonderful personalities- they are gentle and we have yet to come across any who bite, and they keep a daytime schedule! They form close…
