*** Check Out My Video Album Below! *** Zeus is a handsome Pyr mix who sports a short, soft coat that's just begging to be pet. He came to us after being surrendered to a shelter in Tennessee - his only "crime" was being so scared of fireworks that he escaped his electric fence to find safety. Zeus is fully housebroken, leash trained, and crate trained. He knows "sit," "down," "paw," "in your crate," and "come," though like any deity used to getting his way, if something distracts him, all bets are off. His activity level is medium, with the potential for high-energy play when another dog is involved. Speaking of which, Zeus does very well with other dogs, both at home and on walks, and it doesn't matter whether they're male or female - all his canine companions so far have been 40 pounds and up, though his foster believes he'd do just fine with a small dog too, since he also does well with cats - he will give them a curious sniff and then go on about his business like the gentleman he is. When it comes to meeting new people, Zeus is very protective of his inner circle and isn't a fan of strangers - especially kids, who seem to leave him wondering, "Why are they so small?!" But…
