*** Check Out My Video Album Below! *** Meet Yukon, a sweet and gentle Pyr currently in boarding and hoping to find a foster or forever home. Yukon came from a property with 23 other dogs, some of whom would attack him, which is how he got the scars on his face. Understandably, he was quite fearful when he first arrived. When his dog walker first tried to get him from his kennel, Yukon backed away, and the kennel manager had to step in to help, as she doesn't have any trouble with him because he's familiar with her. Since then, Yukon has been making steady progress: his dog walker can now leash him up easily, and every week he seems a little less scared. He is still cautious around new people, but patience is clearly paying off with him. Yukon is leash trained, and is a very slow walker who likes to take his time. He is a polite and tentative boy with low energy who is happy both inside and outdoors. Around other dogs on walks, he's respectful and tolerant, and he could do well either with another dog or as an only dog. He's quieter than other Pyrs - his foster mom has never once heard him bark. What he loves most is simply being petted. What makes Yukon so special is his sweet…
