Meet Orchid I was found wandering the streets of Cabell County, West Virginia, in mid-June. When my foster mom, who is a rescuer, saw me, she immediately knew I was a French Brittany. I’m mostly white, with beautiful black and liver markings on my paws. She acted quickly and contacted NBRAN to help me find safety. When I arrived, I weighed 44 pounds and was carrying a little too much weight. I also needed some dental work. I’ve since had several teeth removed and a thorough dental cleaning, and I’m now a much healthier 37 pounds. It’s become my safe little spot. The vet believes I’m around 8–10 years old. I love going for walks and am a very polite walking companion. Because I have some arthritis in my right leg, I can’t…
