Foster or adopter needed: Hi… my name is Winter. I’m 6 years old. I’m deaf. And right now, I need somewhere safe to go before I lose the only place I have. My foster family loves me very much, but because of an unexpected change in their living situation, they can no longer keep me. I don’t understand what’s happening. I just know my world is changing again… and I’m scared. I may not hear your voice, but I feel everything. I feel kindness. I feel comfort. I feel when someone loves me. And when I trust you, I love with my whole heart. I’m not asking for much. Just a calm home. A soft place to sleep. A person who won’t give up on me. Truthfully, I’d do best as your one and only pet so I can finally relax and feel secure. A calm male dog *might* be okay with proper introductions, but what I really dream of is a peaceful home where I can just be your girl.
