WILLOWY NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Willowy Best Guess for Breed: Jack Russell terrier mix Best Guess for Age: 2 years as of August 2026 SEX: Female Approximate Weight: 21 lbs Gets Along With: Willowy does well with other dogs and needs to go to a home with a welcoming resident dog. We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Currently Living at: Lucky Dog's South Carolina rescue campus - needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here. Check out this video of Willowy: https://youtube.com/shorts/OfIlK9em2ck.Special adoption considerations: Willowy was rescued from a hoarding situation in South Carolina. She has not been well socialized with new people and has lived her whole life with other dogs. New nosies, cars, bikes, and other things may create fear and anxiety. She will need a patient adopter who can give her time to come out of her shell and learn that the world is a wonderful and welcoming place. And because she is shy, she needs to go to a home with a confident, welcoming resident dog who will show her the ropes.Willowy is Looking For: Her forever home, filled with snuggles…
