Victor is a very loving, sweet, young (a little over 1 year) shepherd mix with soulful brown eyes who had a difficult start in life. Now he is looking for a loving family to call his own. He showed up as a stray on someone’s deck 4 months ago. In the short time he was with the family, he absolutely adored the resident dogs and the family, loved to play fetch and have zoomie contests with the dogs, and had wonderful manners. But due to time and financial constraints the family had to give him to the Morgan County KY animal shelter. He's currently taking part in a daily Correctional Facility Obedience Training Class and will come fully trained! (this is a specialized dog training program done in partnership with 4 Paws for Ability, https://www.4pawsforability.org/ The program focuses on basic obedience, socialization, and specialized tasks). He is smart as a whip, has excellent recall, is eager to please, and is extremely food-motivated. He is house and crate trained. He absolutely loves other dogs and is the perfect mix of playful and submissive. He is very unproblematic and respectful.
