From Street Paws

Turtle is a sweet, brindle female rescued from a hoarding case with almost 20 other dogs. She was underweight, but is eating well and gaining weight rapidly. She is settling in to her new foster home and is very vocal. She talks when she is happy, she talks when she wants something, and she talks when she wants out of her crate. She is doing well with crate and potty training and gets along well with the resident dogs (and cats) in the foster home. She is learning to walk on a leash, has a good grasp on sit, and has no interest in stay. :-) (We are working on that.) She is current on vaccines, is heartworm negative, and has been dewormed. Adoptions are generally limited to an approximately 150-mile radius of Jonesboro, Georgia. Exceptions may be considered under certain circumstances. To apply to adopt, please complete our Preliminary Adoption Application. Submitting an application does not commit you to adopting. It allows us to determine whether the pet is a good match for your home and family. As part of the approval process, we verify the veterinary history of current and previous pets, including annual vaccinations and spay/neuter status. Please contact your veterinarian in…

How adopting Turtle works

Street Paws decides every adoption: its application, its fee, its home check and its timing. Everybarn only shows this animal on the rescue's behalf, takes no payment and passes no messages.
