Courtesy post for abandoned pup Hi. My name is Trouble… but I promise I’m not the kind you think. I used to live in a house in Baltimore. One day it got really cold. There was a hole in the roof. No heat. The snow was coming. I was sitting in a cage with no bed, barely any food, and water that ran out too fast. I didn’t understand why everything felt so quiet and empty. I tried to be good. I tried not to bark. I tried to wait. Right before the big snowstorm, someone came for me. She opened my crate and told me I was safe. I didn’t know what that meant yet… but I wanted to believe her. Now I’m staying with her family in Woodbine while she lives in Towson. They already have three big dogs, and their grandmother is helping take care of me. She loves me a lot. If they didn’t already have so many pups, I think I might have stayed forever. I curl up nicely. I’m quiet in my crate. I go outside to potty like I’m supposed to. I even just learned how to walk on a leash — and I’m pretty proud of that. I’m a small guy, even if I look bigger in pictures. I can be a little hyper when I first come out (I spent a lot of time crated before), but after a few minutes I just lay down on the floor…
