* Friendly, affectionate, and people-oriented* About 2 years old and ready for adventure* Great walking companionMeet Tootsie, a sweet 2-year-old Lab mix with a friendly and gentle personality. When she was found roaming with another dog, she happily approached the people who called to her and was described as friendly with their dog and gentle around their baby.Tootsie is a curious girl who loves getting outside to sniff and explore. She is a calm and easygoing companion in the shelter and walks nicely without pulling or reacting to other dogs she passes. She has also shown that she can enjoy the company of other dogs, making her a promising candidate for a canine companion with the right match.Tootsie can be a little sensitive to loud traffic and busy environments, so she does best with a patient, reassuring person who can help her feel confident. Once she gets comfortable, her playful side comes out. She would love a foster or adopter who can give her the time, patience, and positive experiences she needs to blossom into her best self.
