TOME NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Tome Best Guess for Breed: CHI MIX Best Guess for Age: 1 YEAR as of Sept. 2026 SEX: male Approximate Weight: 15.4 lbs Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen them with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Special adoption considerations: Dogs from Puerto Rico have a major transition to go through when they arrive and will need humans who are very committed to socialization. We think this pup would do best with either a resident dog or a family who can make sure they can go on walks regularly with other dogs, visit the dog park, or go to doggie daycare to learn the ropes. Currently Living at: Puerto Rico shelter---needs DC area foster or forever home Check out this video of Tome: https://youtube.com/shorts/H2-e4xbq9C0. Tome is Looking For: This Chihuahua mix with a striking, classic fawn coat is looking for toys, fun walks, buried blankets for his expert napping, and being right by your side! What My Foster Says About Me: We will update once Tomé has spent time in foster! Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training…

How adopting Tome works

Lucky Dog Animal Rescue decides every adoption: its application, its fee, its home check and its timing. Everybarn only shows this animal on the rescue's behalf, takes no payment and passes no messages.
