Taylor is a young foxhound who is thriving in his foster home. Until coming to Mutt Love Rescue, Taylor likely had very little (if any) experience in a home. So, home life is mostly new to him, like the sound of a TV, a washing machine, or the kitchen -- at first he wasn't sure what to make of any of it. But Taylor's foster family reports that he's working hard, and every day he's a little braver and a little more confident than the day before. Every day he crept a little closer to the kitchen, and now he's side-by-side with the rest of the pack waiting for dinner. His foster home's backyard was intimidating, but now he's playing without a care with the other hounds in his home. And once he learned that curling up for naps on the couch isn't scary, you can see how much he really wants to bond with his family and settle into a forever home. Taylor needs a patient family who understands that trust takes time — and it will absolutely be worth the wait. Taylor has already mastered the "big stuff" -- he's housebroken, good in a crate when needed (but not really needed), and sleeps through the night. He will need work on a leash, as neighborhood noises can still make him anxious. But…
