Meet Sweet Pea! Sweet Pea is a sweet, active girl who absolutely loves her people! She loves learning, playing, running, tug-of-war, and, of course, snuggling. She already knows sit, place, down, and wait , although she may need a repeat command while she continues working on consistency. She is a smart girl who enjoys learning and wants to please! Sweet Pea is currently working on resource guarding , particularly with food and bones. She has made great progress with her foster family—her foster can now approach her while she is eating without any guarding. She may still guard with people she doesn’t know or who haven’t worked with her, so continued training and management will be important. She lives happily with two Labs and does well with them. She sometimes needs a reminder about personal space because Sweet Pea doesn’t always read the room. She eats alongside the other dogs without issue and can enjoy bones around them as well. She also lives with three cats . She is very curious and is learning that her kitty siblings don’t always appreciate her attempts to play. Sweet Pea is an active girl who would love a family that will continue her training, give her plenty of exercise…
