STELLA NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Stella Best Guess for Breed: Terrier mix Best Guess for Age: 4 years as of August 2026 SEX: Female Approximate Weight: 37 lbs Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Currently Living at: DC area foster home Stella is Looking For: Her forever home! Stella did an amazing job of raising her baby Julie to be a great family pet and now Julie is off to get her own home. It's Stella's turn to find her humans! She's in her prime, eager to get her own humans for sniffy walks and romps and all those great adventures - shelter staff say she is happy and bouncy! She'd love to make pup pals along the way. But you know what she wants most of all? To know where she belongs, to always be safe and loved. In exchange she promises so many adoring gazes, so much love and loyalty for all her days. What do you say? Does Stella have a spot in your home and your heart? What My Foster Says About Me: Stella is an outgoing, wiggly, wagging, bouncy sweetheart with delightful ears. She’s dog-friendly (though she sometimes woofs at far away dogs while on a leash)…
