Who loves a good game of red light, green light?? This guy is amazing at stopping you in your tracks to be sure he’s with you at all times! He is crate trained (will whine some but easily corrects with ecollar), fixed, up to date on vaccinations. Guessing 2 yrs old. He loves his human and tolerates the bonus ones. He can NOT be in a home with children or a home that may someday have children. The perfect forever home would be a single person that has a lot of time and energy to put into one life long partner. Shortly after coming into rescue he was diagnosed with EPI (Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency). Short explanation for a long word… his body doesn’t absorb nutrients from food he eats. He is on a very strict diet. He must have enzymes on every single meal and b12 intrinsic every morning. These 2 meds are life sustaining. Without them he will starve to death slowly. Along with normal kibble he will need some supplemental foods such as bananas, yogurt, baby foods. This boy lives up to his name Steel. He has been through it yet pushed on everyday to get where he is today! Literally a rock star! Due to the ravenous appetite of his body believing it’s starving he can NOT be around…

In the rescue's own words, as they published it.
