From Central Texas Dachshund Rescue

Meet Spencer, a sweet boy who recently arrived at CTDR with his best friend, Simon, after their owner could no longer care for them. These two have shared their lives together and are very bonded, so they must be adopted as a pair. Spencer is settling in nicely and doing very well in his foster home. Spencer and Simon get along well with other dogs and absolutely love being with their people. They are affectionate, easy companions who would be happiest staying together in a home where they can enjoy their golden years side by side. If you are interested in giving this bonded pair a loving forever home, please complete an adoption application at www.ctdr.org.

In the rescue's own words, as they published it.

How adopting Spencer works

Central Texas Dachshund Rescue decides every adoption: its application, its fee, its home check and its timing. Everybarn only shows this animal on the rescue's behalf, takes no payment and passes no messages.
