From Barking Dog Farm Rescue

Sofie is a three year old great pyrenees. She is sweet and timid at first but quickly warms up when she trusts you and would follow you to the ends of the earth. Sofie has been standoffish with her fellow foster dogs but is slowly getting use to them. If you are patient, have a calm home and are looking for a wonderful , loving companion then Sofie is your girl. Please visit our website for more info on our adoption process and adoption application www.barkdogfarm.org Before applying be sure you have thoroughly researched Great Pyrenees. They can be stubborn, prone to barking, overly protective and cannot be off leash. You WILL NOT train a pyr to boundaries. Please be sure all family members are in agreement to adopting and your family is ready to bring dog home now. Applicants must be at least 21 years old. We do not have blanket criteria regarding adoptions. Each applicant is considered based on many things including but not limited to breed experience, yard ( visible fence preferred) and other animals in home. We try to avoid dogs with same sex households as pyrs typically do not do well with the same sex. A volunteer will be in touch to discuss your application and the dog to…

How adopting Sofie works

Barking Dog Farm Rescue decides every adoption: its application, its fee, its home check and its timing. Everybarn only shows this animal on the rescue's behalf, takes no payment and passes no messages.
