Meet Shirley — A Sweet Soul Ready for Her Forever Home Some dogs have a way of capturing your heart the moment you meet them, and Shirley is absolutely one of those dogs. With her soft blond coat, gentle eyes, and warm, hopeful spirit, she’s the kind of companion who makes every day feel a little brighter. Now, after an unexpected journey that brought her all the way from California to Central Arizona Animal Rescue, she’s ready to find the loving home she truly deserves. Shirley’s story begins in California, where she ended up in the pound along with her entire family — her two sisters, her brother, and even her mom and dad. It’s rare to see a whole canine family come through together, and it speaks to how closely bonded they were. Thankfully, caring people stepped in to help, arranging safe transport for Shirley so she could start fresh in Arizona. She’s now safe, healthy, and waiting patiently for someone special to discover her. About Shirley Shirley is about 2 years old, a wonderful age where she’s past the puppy chaos but still full of youthful energy and curiosity. She weighs a comfortable 25–30 pounds, making her a great size for someone who wants a dog who’s sturdy enough…
