Sherm is currently enrolled in the 12-week Puppies 4 Parole program through the Mo Department of Corrections. He will graduate towards the end of November and will be available for adoption at that time. If you are interested in adopting Sherm, please complete an application and the foster parent will contact you. My name is Sherm. I'm probably around 2 and a healthy 50lbs. I'll go ahead and get my dislikes out of the way. Cats and small animals are not my thing. Unless it's a bird or squirrel sitting at the window. I LOVE to bark and try and get them. I don't care for my kennel but I will go in it with a treat. But I'm a good dog and do just fine with a dog bed and a baby gate put up in the kitchen during the workday. I'll go for a walk, but can we keep it short. And if it's hot, I don't want to go at all. So if you've made it through all my dislikes let's talk about my likes! I do well meetings other dogs and people! But I do jump. I get really excited about kids but I maybe a bit much for the small ones. A yard with a 4 ft fence is a non-negotiable for me because I don't really love walks but I absolutely love being outside. My Foster family got me this thing called an elk…
