If you are interested in this dog, please contact Cate at 970-471-0963 Snacks (short for Saranac) is a 6–7 year old, 100 lb Pitbull mix with a heart as big as he is. Rescued from a shelter in Kansas when he was about a year old, he’s grown into the most loyal, goofy, and gentle companion. His favorite things in the world are cuddles on the couch, spending time with his humans, and enjoying quiet outdoor adventures. Snacks is neutered, fully vaccinated, house-trained, and knows his basic commands. He’s healthy (despite having lost some teeth in a run-in with a rock on a hike!) and has so much love left to give. Unfortunately, he has gotten out of his yard a few times and had several altercations with neighbor dogs. These incidents have made it clear that he needs an environment where he won’t be stressed by frequent dog encounters. His current family is heartbroken, but know that finding him the right home is the best choice for Snacks and for everyone’s safety.
