Overview Meet Sammy, a beautiful ~10 year old, 10 lb golden-coated dachshund who proves that love sees beyond physical limitations. Sammy came to Little Paws as a stray found in Miami, and this sweet boy has lots of affection to give. Despite being somewhat visually impaired due to cataracts, Sammy navigates the world with his heart wide open and is absolutely craving human connection and love. Environment Sammy is a gentle soul who enjoys short walks and playtime. He’s potty trained with regular potty breaks, doing best with a consistent routine. He’s great on the leash and loves his walks. Sammy is not a fan of the crate and does bark when left alone. He needs a home without shared walls. This love bug just wants to be near his people!
