From Animal Care Sanctuary
ð¦ MEET SALEM ð¦ The shelter environment is difficult for Salem. The stress and anxiety dim his spirits, and the happy dog inside him just fades away. But once Salem had the chance to relax in a foster home, everything changed. ð We discovered the real Salem is cheerful, affectionate, and a world-class snuggler! He loves curling up in his blankets, enjoying his enormous toy collection, and perfecting the art of doing absolutely nothing. ð§¸ð¤ Unless thereâs water nearby⦠Salem LOVES WATER! ð¦ Give him a pool, puddle, or anything remotely splashable, and this retired couch potato suddenly becomes an Olympic athlete. ð Salem is dog social and enjoys visits with female canine friends, but he would be happiest as the only animal in his home, soaking up all the love and attention. After more than 160 days, Salem is ready for a home where he can leave his worries behind and keep showing the world the joyful, loving dog he truly is. ð¾ð

How adopting Salem works
Animal Care Sanctuary decides every adoption: its application, its fee, its home check and its timing. Everybarn only shows this animal on the rescue's behalf, takes no payment and passes no messages.
