Sage's Doggie Day Out 6/27/26:`Sage was with a teenage boy (13). She loved running with him and spending time quietly napping next to him. She was a polite companion for the day. She noticed other people, including cycles and runners) and animals but remained calm and was easy to redirect. She LOVES car rides. Hopped right into the car and quickly settled down. She takes treats gently from your hand. She would be a good travel buddy. She was more attentive to us, her hosts, than the people she met throughout the day but that just proves how polite she is. We started our day at Old Sacramento. She rolled in the grass while we got to know each other. We then checked out the river - she hopped in - and walked around the shops. Next, she napped in the car while we drove to a brewery. While there, she was showered with attention and peanut butter dog treats before taking another nap. `Sage's Doggie Day Out 6/21/26: `Friendly with a mix of reserved and confident. She did not bark or have any major reaction to any dogs or squirrels that passed by her. She takes treats gently and knows the sit command.
