Meet Sable (SC): the 7yearold (as of 2026) spayed female Boxer mix who has decided her life’s mission is to love every living creature she encounters. She was rescued from life as a stray and has responded by becoming a fulltime affection professional. She’s great with people, kids, cats, and dogs, and she hands out kisses freely to anyone within tongue range. Her wrinkly little face and awardworthy underbite only add to her charm. She’s the kind of dog who happily inserts herself into group hugs, sleeps through the night like a dream, and walks beautifully on leash while politely ignoring critters as if she’s above woodland drama. She’s housetrained, easygoing, and happiest when she’s physically touching her humans—bed, couch, crate, doesn’t matter, as long as she’s close. In short: sweet, easy, affectionate perfection wrapped in brown fur and powered by snuggles. Apply to adopt Sable (SC) at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org. Her adoption fee is $300.Please be sure to reference this pet as Sable (SC) in the event of similar names.
