Meet Rye (SC) — a tenderhearted 8yearold neutered male Terrier mix with the sweetest little face and a spirit that just melts you. At 40 lbs, he’s the perfect “medium guy,” easy to scoop up for a hug and just as easy to fit into any home and routine. Rye is currently healing from fur loss caused by allergies, but he’s already on the upswing. With a little care and comfort, his gorgeous light coat will soon be growing back in soft, healthy waves. Even without all his fluff, his gentle nature and warm eyes do all the shining for him. He’s wonderfully sweet with people, friendly with other dogs, couldn't care less about cats, carries himself with a calm, grateful softness that makes you fall for him instantly. Rye isn’t demanding — he’s simply a loving companion who wants to be near you, soaking up every bit of kindness offered. If you’re looking for a gentle soul who will adore you forever, Rye is ready to meet you. Apply online to adopt Rye (SC) at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org. His adoption fee is $300.
