Meet Ryan! You can't help but fall in love with Ryan! Ryan is charming, sweet, a little unconventional, and somehow still everyone's favorite guy in the room. Ryan is a 5-year-old, 60-lb mixed-breed dog. Ryan knows his basic commands and genuinely enjoys learning, especially when food is involved (and yes, he will happily beg for a bite or two). Walks are one of his greatest joys because every outing feels like a brand-new adventure. Familiar routes? Still exciting. New smells? Oscar-worthy. He is playful, affectionate, and also perfectly capable of entertaining himself. He loves to run in the yard, have bursts of play and then, when his brain needs a break, he will head straight to his crate for a nap. His crate is his safe space, and he chooses it willingly. He sleeps there at night and uses it to decompress when he feels overstimulated. Ryan has a mild neurological deficit and can struggle to read other dog's body language. He can become overstimulated more easily than most, which is why he would do best in a calm, predictable home without young children, cats, or other dogs.
