Meet Rusty! Hi, I’m Rusty! I’m around 1–2 years old, with big puppy energy! I’m curious about everything- I love to play, explore, and meet new people. And when I’m ready to wind down, I’m convinced I’m a 33-pound lap dog. My favorite place is right in your lap getting all the cuddles! I’m still working on my manners and commands, but I’ve already mastered “shake” (and I’m VERY proud of it!). I’m a smart boy who is learning more every day. Dog-friendly: I do great with other dogs and LOVE to play! I’d probably be happiest with another playful dog who can help me burn off some of this energy. Adventure buddy: I’m great on a leash and might even have what it takes to become your future running buddy! Kids: I do well with older kids. Younger kids are a little more of an unknown because I get SO excited and love attention, which can make me a little jumpy. I’d likely do best with kids who are comfortable around an energetic pup. Crate trained: I’m a crate champ! I eat, sleep, and relax in my crate and stay there when my foster family leaves.
