Runi is a 5-year-old, 60 lb. Malinois-Shepard mix looking for a special forever home. She’s a happy goofy girl who is smart, eager to please, crate and potty trained, and knows multiple tricks. Once she bonds with you, it can take some time as she is very shy/fearful with new people, she becomes incredibly affectionate and trusting. She cannot go to dog parks or off-leash social scenes—she is reactive around other animals and needs to stay leashed on walks.While she's energetic and fun, she will do best in an adult-only home, with no other pets or children. She is currently thriving on a low-dose medication to manage mild seizures. She’s got a big heart and a goofy soul, just waiting for the right human(s) to share her life with.She loves when you cheer or clap when she gets her toy – you can tell she’s proud with the way she walks. She will grumble and talk to you when she wants something – if her water bowl is empty, she will talk and “dig it up.” We make her do some tricks for meal times, sit and wait while we put the bowl down and then release – all meals are “dinner” or “dinner time.” If dinner or bones/treats are really good she does the cute happy rub/roll after eating.She…
