From 2nd Chance Dog Rescue

Meet Rosie – A Sweet Senior Girl Looking for Her Forever Home Rosie is an approximately 11-12-year-old sweetheart who was rescued from the MCACC euthanasia list by 2nd Chance Dog Rescue in late 2025. Now she's hoping to find the loving forever home she deserves for her golden years. Rosie is the definition of easygoing. She has a calm, gentle personality and is happiest lounging on a comfy bed, soaking up the sunshine, taking short strolls, or relaxing with one of her favorite bones. She loves everyone she meets and will happily sneak in a sweet kiss every now and then. She is house-trained, crate trained, uses a dog door, and rides beautifully in the car. Rosie does well with children and would be perfectly happy as your one and only dog, or she could share her home with another calm, mellow dog after slow, proper introductions. Like many senior dogs, Rosie has a few medical needs. She is hard of hearing due to chronic ear infections, needs eye ointment twice a day for dry eye, and takes an arthritis medication twice daily, which is easily given with her meals. If Rosie is placed in a foster home, the rescue will provide all of her food, supplies, and medical care. Rosie isn't…

How adopting Rosie works

2nd Chance Dog Rescue decides every adoption: its application, its fee, its home check and its timing. Everybarn only shows this animal on the rescue's behalf, takes no payment and passes no messages.
