After suffering an injury in rural Texas, this brave pup became an amputee, but don’t tell River that life is supposed to slow down now. River has adapted beautifully and continues to greet each day with tail wags, gentle affection, and a hopeful spirit. Despite everything River has been through, this sweet dog still trusts, still loves, and still believes in second chances. River would thrive with a family who understands that special-needs dogs aren’t broken — they’re often the most grateful companions you’ll ever meet. If you’re looking for a loyal best friend with a courageous spirit and a soft spot for comfy naps, River may be your perfect match. ❤️ADOPT HERE: Complete an Adoption Application for your Pyr-fect new family companion at https://gprs.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=6206. How adopting River works

Great Pyrenees Rescue Society decides every adoption: its application, its fee, its home check and its timing. Everybarn only shows this animal on the rescue's behalf, takes no payment and passes no messages.
