*Name: Rico*Age: 6 years old*Current Weight: 13lbs*Adoption fee: $400Legally, he's known as Rico. Spiritually, he's Rico Suavemente Besame. This dog is unlike any other dog, and this is from his foster family who has fostered over a dozen dogs! This six-year-old Chihuahua mix has been diagnosed with Cushing's and may have had some brain damage. Those wonky eyes and upside-down-vampire teeth? That's his Signature Look. Everyone knows Rico, everyone loves Rico!Rico is certified dog-friendly (he prefers smaller dogs), cat-friendly (he thinks he's a cat) and kid-friendly (older kids with dog experience, that is). He puts the "potato" in couch potato, even though he has the most magnificent prance-walk. His favorite toys are small and soft... basically, cat toys. He also loves going into a cat carrier for car rides. And Rico is a talker! He groans when he gets good scritches and dances when you hit the spot. What Rico doesn't enjoy? Being picked up! It's the worst!Yes, Rico is special. Yes, he looks like a Picasso painting. Yes, there is no cure for Cushing's. But Rico is a joy to have and makes everyone laugh. He is worth the effort to get to know him and help him through his health…
